The room at Isanka Lion Lodge was so cozy and comfortable, with a lovely seating area to relax in. The flat-screen TV with satellite channels was a great bonus, perfect for unwinding after a day of biking. The private bathroom with free toiletries made me feel pampered, just like home. As a laid-back guest, I couldn't have asked for a better room!

The only thing that I liked less was that the tile/marble floor in the twin/double room felt a bit cold. But hey, that's just my personal preference.

The garden views were simply delightful, and the free WiFi and private parking were just the cherry on top. Plus, the paid airport shuttle service was a real treat. I couldn't have asked for more!

The owners are exceptional cooks, serving delicious breakfast and dinner with different curries each evening. They provide helpful travel tips and assisted us in finding our way to Pollonaruwa. The laundry service was excellent, leaving our clothes clean and fresh. The room was spotless, ensuring a comfortable stay. We look forward to returning.

Isanka Lion Lodge in Sri Lanka was the best stay we've ever had. the host, Anil, and his daughter were incredibly warm and caring. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and provided us with excellent advice for our travels. the rooms were spacious, impeccably clean, and had the most comfortable beds we've ever experienced. the homemade Sri Lankan meals served at the lodge were absolutely delicious and varied each day. You won't find better food anywhere else. the location was also convenient, with easy access to many attractions, including Sigiriya Rock. We initially planned to stay for one night but ended up extending our stay to four nights because we enjoyed it so much. We met other guests who also extended their stays because they loved it there too. this was the best home, away, from, home experience we've ever had. Cons: Nothing not to love! 😊.

We had a fantastic stay at Isanka Lion Lodge! Anil and his family were incredibly generous and helpful hosts. The rooms were brand-new and fully equipped with TV, A/C, and WiFi. They were also very clean. Anil and his wife treated us to an amazing chicken rice and curry dinner - the best we've had in Sri Lanka! The lodge is conveniently located near the rocks, and we were able to rent bicycles and explore the area. Anil even took us on a private visit to Sigyria lake to watch birds. We highly recommend staying at Isanka Lion Lodge!
